Focused oxygen therapy

A focused oxygen-pressure session in a private hard-shell chamber

HBOT combines oxygen with increased atmospheric pressure so the body can take in more oxygen than it would in normal room air. That increased oxygen availability is why HBOT is used in clinical settings: more available oxygen can support tissue function, repair processes, and selected care plans.

At Longevity Club + Clinic, HBOT is not treated as a one-size-fits-all appointment. The team reviews your goals, health history, medications, and comfort first, then helps determine whether a hard-shell chamber session belongs in your recovery, performance, or longevity plan.

Why clients choose it

Focused oxygen support for recovery-minded plans

HBOT's value is focused and specific: pressure changes how oxygen is absorbed and delivered through the body. For the right client, that can make HBOT a thoughtful addition to a broader recovery, wellness, or performance plan.

More oxygen available

Increased pressure can help the lungs absorb more oxygen, making oxygen more available to tissues throughout the body.

Tissue-support context

Oxygen plays an important role in normal repair biology. LC&C may consider HBOT when oxygen-supportive care fits the broader plan.

Clinical credibility

HBOT is best known medically for chronic wounds and selected clinical uses. LC&C keeps the conversation grounded and evaluates fit first.

Guided fit

The LC&C team reviews goals, health history, medications, comfort, and contraindications before recommending HBOT.

What to expect

Private, quiet, pressurized, and staff-supported

  1. Fit review

Before HBOT is recommended, the team reviews your goals, health history, medications, ear and sinus comfort, and any reasons pressure therapy may not be appropriate.

  2. Session setup

You settle into the private hard-shell chamber while the team prepares the oxygen and pressure plan.

  3. Pressurized session

Pressure increases gradually. Your ears may pop, similar to flying, and you continue breathing normally while the team monitors the experience.

  4. Slow return

Pressure is reduced gradually before you transition out and discuss next steps.

HBOT starts with the LC&C team

HBOT is recommended after the team understands your goals, pressure tolerance, health history, medications, and how the session fits into your larger plan.

If you have ear or sinus concerns, claustrophobia, certain implanted devices, lung conditions, recent ear injury or surgery, or other medical concerns, the team will help determine whether a pressurized oxygen session is appropriate before it is added to your plan.

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?

HBOT involves breathing 100% oxygen while relaxing in a pressurized chamber (typically 1.5-2.0 ATA). This increased pressure allows oxygen to dissolve directly into your blood plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, and lymph, reaching areas that may receive limited blood flow. The result is a cascade of healing effects at the cellular level.

Our medical-grade chambers provide a comfortable, spa-like environment where you can read, watch entertainment, or simply relax while your body absorbs this therapeutic oxygen.

Why You'll Love Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

  • Cellular Rejuvenation: Lengthens telomeres, clears senescent cells, and triggers new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis) for true anti-aging at the cellular level
  • Accelerated Healing: Dramatically speeds recovery from injuries, surgeries, wounds, and chronic pain by enhancing tissue repair
  • Enhanced Cognitive Function: Improves memory, mental clarity, focus, and supports neurological health and brain optimization
  • Systemic Anti-Inflammatory Effects: Reduces oxidative stress and inflammation throughout the body while strengthening immune function
  • Performance & Vitality: Better athletic recovery, improved skin elasticity and collagen production, increased energy and overall vitality
  • Comfortable & Safe: Relax in our premium chambers with entertainment options while your body heals and regenerates

What to Expect

Sessions last 60-90 minutes, depending on your protocol. You'll relax in our comfortable chamber while pressure gradually increases. Most people describe a feeling similar to being in an airplane. You can bring books, tablets, or simply rest during your session.

During pressurization, you may feel fullness in your ears (similar to flying), which can easily managed by swallowing, yawning, or gentle pressure equalization techniques our staff will teach you.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy FAQS

Don't see your question here?Contact Us.

What happens during a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy session?

During your session, you'll relax inside our comfortable, pressurized chamber while breathing 100% pure oxygen. The increased atmospheric pressure (typically 1.5-3 times normal air pressure) allows your lungs to absorb significantly more oxygen than usual, flooding your bloodstream and tissues with healing oxygen. Most patients bring a book, tablet, or simply rest during the session. The experience is peaceful and comfortable—many describe it as surprisingly relaxing once their body adjusts to the gentle pressure changes.

How long are sessions and how many will I need?

Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes. The number of sessions you'll need depends on your specific goals and condition. For general wellness and longevity optimization, many patients benefit from 10-20 sessions initially, followed by periodic maintenance. For more specific conditions like injury recovery or chronic inflammation, we may recommend a more intensive protocol. We track your progress with biomarkers and adjust your treatment plan accordingly to ensure you're getting the maximum benefit.

Will my ears pop like on an airplane? Is it uncomfortable?

You may experience mild ear pressure similar to taking off in an airplane, but our trained practitioners guide you through simple equalization techniques (like yawning or swallowing) to keep you comfortable throughout the session. We pressurize and depressurize the chamber gradually, and you're in complete control—you can communicate with our team at any time if you need assistance. Most patients adjust quickly and find subsequent sessions increasingly comfortable.

Who should not use Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

While HBOT is safe for most people, it's not recommended if you have an untreated collapsed lung (pneumothorax), certain ear conditions, an active cold or fever, or severe emphysema. You should also avoid flying within 24 hours before or after a session. During your comprehensive consultation, we'll review your full medical history to ensure hyperbaric therapy is safe and appropriate for you. Your safety is always our top priority.

What makes your Hyperbaric Chamber different from portable "soft" chambers?

We use medical-grade, hard-shell hyperbaric chambers that deliver true therapeutic pressure and measurable clinical outcomes—not the soft, inflatable chambers you might find at some wellness centers. Our chambers can reach the pressures necessary for deep tissue oxygenation and are overseen by licensed healthcare professionals. This isn't a wellness trend—it's FDA-cleared medical technology with decades of research backing its effectiveness. You deserve real results, not watered-down alternatives.
