Two decades in clinical practice, a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins, three New York Times bestsellers and one of the most-read natural health platforms in the world. This clinic is where that work becomes a plan written for one person.
When I was a kid, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She'd been my gym teacher in elementary school and she looked fit. As far as anyone could tell her, she had done everything right. And she was given less than a 40 percent chance to live.
What I remember most is watching her go from doctor to doctor and come home without answers. Nobody could tell her why she got cancer. She came home with appointments, a surgery date and a chemotherapy schedule, and no explanation.
Her scans came back clear, but she wasn't well. For years afterward she lived with chronic fatigue, hypothyroidism, constipation and depression. Ten years later the cancer came back in her lungs.
This time she chose a different path. She changed what she ate, how she slept and how she handled stress. She took the right herbs and supplements, received natural treatments, and prayed. And she got better, because somebody finally looked at the whole person instead of the one thing that had shown up on a scan.
Years later I found out what that feels like from the other side. At 42 I developed a bone infection that was destroying vertebrae in my spine. I was told I might never walk normally again. I had a wife and a young daughter, and I was bedridden for most of a year. I prayed, I believed God would heal me, and I went after the root cause with nutrition, targeted botanicals and advanced therapies, including hyperbaric oxygen. The infection cleared, the bone rebuilt, and I'm back to 100 percent.
That's what we do here. People come to us after being told there's nothing more to try, or that nothing is wrong at all. We test deeper, read results against the ranges where the body actually works, and combine tools most clinics will never have in one building. God built bodies that want to heal. Our job is to find what's standing in the way.
"Nobody gets less time, less thoroughness or less honesty than I would want for my own mother sitting in that chair."

Nurse practitioner license being finalized this fall
Bryson is the medical director at The Longevity Club + Clinic and the practitioner most patients spend the most time with. He leads your intake and physical assessment, and walks you through your lab review line by line: the long appointment where your results stop being numbers and start being a plan.
He earned his nursing degree and his nurse practitioner degree at Union University, and is working toward a Doctorate in Natural Medicine. His focus is functional medicine, advanced bloodwork and regenerative medicine.
Before medicine, Bryson played Division I soccer at UNC Wilmington. He and his wife, Brooke, have a son, Hampton.

Ragan is the lead nurse practitioner at The Longevity Club + Clinic. She spent nearly ten years as a hematology and oncology nurse at UAB, Mayo Clinic and Vanderbilt, then she earned her master's as a primary care nurse practitioner and practiced for two years as a medical oncology nurse practitioner at Duke University Medical Center.
That decade inside some of the country's leading cancer centers shapes how she practices here: functional medicine and integrative cancer support, always coordinated with a patient's oncology team, with the clinical rigor those years demand.
Ragan earned her bachelor's in nursing at Samford University. She and her husband, Gabe, have one child at home.

The method
Test. Don't guess.
Six rules that decide almost everything about how this clinic works.
Measure more, and better
Up to 115 markers instead of about 15, each read against the range associated with feeling well, not the range that merely rules out disease.
Read patterns, not numbers
Low ferritin plus a high-normal TSH plus low free T3 isn't three findings. It's one. Finding the upstream driver is most of the work.
Sequence the plan
Drainage before binding. Raw materials before signals. Fix the deficit before applying a stressor.
Food is the first prescription
A custom meal plan, supplement protocol and herbal tinctures from your labs. You can't out-drip a diet that's feeding the problem.
East alongside West
Traditional Chinese medicine patterns read next to your Western labs: two languages describing the same body.
Prove it in 90 days
We rerun the markers that were off and set them beside your originals. If they moved, we build on it. If not, we say so and change course.
Traveling in
Coming from out of town?
Franklin is home, but patients also travel in from across the Southeast. We stack your visits and therapy sessions into concentrated blocks of a few days, then handle nutrition and follow-up remotely between trips.
A real person picks up.Call Mon–Fri 8am–5pm and you'll talk to our front desk team in Franklin, not a call center.
Who is Dr. Josh Axe?
Dr. Josh Axe, DNM, DC, CNS, is a doctor of natural medicine, doctor of chiropractic and certified nutrition specialist with a Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University and more than 20 years in clinical practice. He's a three-time New York Times bestselling author (Think This, Not That; The Biblio Diet; and Heal Your Cells, with Dr. Will Cole), the founder of DrAxe.com, host of The Dr. Josh Axe Show, and the founder of The Longevity Club + Clinic in Franklin, Tennessee.
Is Dr. Axe a medical doctor?
No. Dr. Axe is a doctor of natural medicine (DNM), doctor of chiropractic (DC) and certified nutrition specialist (CNS). Clinical care at the clinic is delivered by licensed practitioners, led by our medical director, Bryson Siemon, RN, and lead nurse practitioner Ragan Spinks, NP, working from the protocols Dr. Axe designs.
Who will I see at my appointments?
Your intake, physical assessment and lab review are with Bryson Siemon, RN, our medical director, or Ragan Spinks, NP, our lead nurse practitioner. Kristy Handy, RN, and our nursing team deliver IV, ozone and infusion therapies, Allison Malafronte, our certified nutritionist, builds your meal plan, and our front desk and concierge team handle scheduling so clinical time stays clinical.
Does Dr. Axe see patients personally?
Dr. Axe designs the clinical protocols, sets the standard every plan is held to, and records a personal video walkthrough for every patient between their first visit and their lab review. Day-to-day appointments are with licensed practitioners. Concierge members receive his personal protocol oversight.
What makes this different from other longevity clinics?
Three things. We measure far more and read it against optimal ranges. We write you a real nutrition protocol, which most longevity clinics skip in favor of selling therapies. And we sequence what we do, because the right therapy at the wrong time is the wrong therapy.

I've watched what happens when nobody looks closely enough, with my mom and with my own body. I built this clinic so the people who walk through our doors get the workup I wish my family had been given the first time.Dr. Josh Axe, DNM, DC, CNS · Founder
